Contract signed for design of Rail Baltica regional stations in Estonia

RB Rail AS has signed a contract with Ardanuy Ingeneria S.A. for the design works of Rail Baltica regional stations at Harju and Pärnu counties in Estonia. 

The scope of the agreement involves the design of waiting platforms, overpasses and underpasses, open areas, parking lots and access roads of regional stations. Ardanui Ingeneria S.A. will design 7 regional stations such as Assaku, Luige, Saku and Kurtna in Harju County and Kaisma, Tootsi and Urge in Pärnu County. Works are planned for 5 months with an additional 3 months for applications for building permits. The value of the contract is EUR368,000 (US$398,559) without VAT. 

Since the beginning of 2022, the design of regional stations in Raplamaa has been underway. AS Novarc Group has completed draft designs of standard transitions between station buildings and waiting platforms, and draft designs of open areas, parking lots and access roads are still being developed.
