Contract signed for multimillion Railroad Corridor Project in Colombia

The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has signed an inter-administrative contract with the Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional (FDN) for the Reactivation of the Pacific Railroad Corridor Project in Bogota, Colombia.

The project intends to reactivate an 838 km railway corridor from the Port of Buenaventura to La Felisa that connects with the active railway line of La Dorada. With this contract, FDN will be responsible for carrying out the studies at the pre-feasibility level focused on boosting the regional economy and the generation of jobs.

The transaction was valued at COP24 billion (US$4.93 million) for a duration of 15 months.
