Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in the USA has conducted an industry day for LaGuardia Airport’s Air Train PPP project. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has also released the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the project. The authority will launch the request for qualification (RFQ) for the project shortly.

The proposed AirTrain will create an environmentally-friendly, predictable, and efficient 30-minute rail connection between LaGuardia Airport and midtown Manhattan. Once complete, AirTrain LGA will improve access to LaGuardia for millions of travelers and thousands of airport workers each day.
