Four teams shortlisted for USD2 billion AirTrain PPP project in USA

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has announced a shortlist of four teams in the LaGuardia AirTrain procurement as a result of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) published on March 22, 2021.

The AirTrain project will connect LaGuardia airport to the New York City Transit Subway 7 Line and the Long Island Rail Road Port Washington Branch at Mets-Willets Point. The project will create 3,000 direct jobs and allow for more than US$500 million in contracts for minority-owned, women-owned and local businesses. Based on a thorough review of all the submissions, the Port Authority’s selection committee made its final selection of the top four teams, which are the following:

  • LGA Xpress Partners- Dragados USA Inc., OHL USA, Inc., AECOM Tishman, AECOM USA Inc., ACS Infrastructure Development, Inc., and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc.
