State Route 400 (SR 400) is a vital north-south transportation corridor in metro Atlanta that connects people, jobs, and freight. SR 400 will add new miles in Atlanta city. Under this project, two buffer-separated express lanes in each direction between North Springs MARTA Station and McGinnis Ferry Road and one buffer-separated express lane in each direction from McGinnis Ferry Road to McFarland Parkway will be constructed.

GDOT will announce the shortlisted bidders before July 02, 2020. The authority expects to complete the contract award in July 2021 and achieve financial close in December 2021. The construction works for the project are expected to start in 2022.
