Government of Puerto Rico shortlists qualified teams for three PPP projects

The Puerto Rico Public-Private Partnerships Authority has announced that it has shortlisted thirteen consortia for three PPP projects. 

Balearia Caribbean Inc., HMS Ferries, Inc., Priority Roro Services, Inc., Puerto Rico Fast Ferries, LLC and Seastreak, LLC have been shortlisted to provide transportation services to the island municipalities of Vieques and Culebra and between Cataño and San Juan.

Invenergy Storage Development, LLC; PowerSecure, Inc., Tesla, Inc., and a consortium of AES Puerto Rico, L.P. and Fluence Energy, LLC have been shortlisted for an energy storage project, which consists of the development and installation of energy storage systems in several critical substations owned by the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority.

BLU WATER Consortium, IBT Group Team, Puerto Rico Advanced Intelligent Metering Services and SUEZ Group have been shortlisted to optimize Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA)’s metering system and customer service. This project consists of improving PRASA’s efficiency and replacing meters with more modern ones.

The lattermost group have been invited to submit proposals for the metering project.
