The Kerala State government has declared operation approval for the mobility hub at Kozhikode, Kerala.

The proposed multi-crore project aims to construct the mobility hub through a public-private partnership, based on the design, build, finance, operate, and transfer model. This strategically located urban facility will integrate various modes of transportation, including road transport, water transport, and metro rail. Commuters will have the flexibility to choose their preferred mode of transport and easily transition between different modes within a single campus. The primary objective of this project, equipped with multi-mode transport facilities, is to encourage the use of public transportation and reduce reliance on private vehicles, thereby mitigating pollution.
