Plenary Group has collaborated with Foundation Housing to develop four social housing projects in metropolitan Perth, Western Australia.
These projects, supported by Housing Australia's Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF), represent a combined investment of AU$ 280 million (US$ 168 million) and will deliver 396 social and affordable housing units.
In this partnership, Plenary Group serves as the financial and commercial adviser for all four projects, invests in one, and acts as the development manager for another. The first project achieved financial closure in February 2025, with the remaining three expected to follow in the coming months. This collaboration aligns with broader efforts by the Australian and Western Australian governments to increase the supply of social and affordable housing. For instance, in February 2024, a partnership was announced to deliver over 200 new homes in Perth, targeting key workers and vulnerable populations, including older women at risk of homelessness.
