Preferred bidder selected for USD2.4 billion expressway PPP project in China

China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited announced that China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd a subsidiary of the Company, received the bid-winning notice, that the consortium comprising CGGC (as Leader) and its subsidiaries together with five other companies has won the bid for the public-private partnership (PPP) project of the construction of Urumqi Ring Expressway (West Line).

The project's mainline is 92,027 kilometers long. It is built using the eight-lane two-way expressway standard. The distance is 41 meters for the sub-grade. There are a total of 5739.6 meters/4 major bridges on the main line (including the main line cross-separated interchange and the interchange main bridge). Seats, 11129.6 meters/29 bridges, 2164.2m/33 middle bridges, 1301 meters/10 bridges on the branch line (including 1 reinforced concrete frame bridge on the Wuzhun railway main line), 28 channels and 78 culverts.

The Project is situated in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regions and the total investment is approximately RMB16.141 billion (USD2.49 billion). The term of the Project is 33 years.
