Refinancing agreement executed for Autopista Urbana Norte highway concession

The Autopista Urbana Norte has executed an agreement to refinance US$ 293.8 million for the Autopista Urbana Norte highway concession with consotium of Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos, S. N. C. (Banobras), Banco Mercantil del Norte, S.A. and Banco Santander (México) S.A.

Greenberg Traurig advised the banking consortium on the transaction.

The project includes a 9 km elevated viaduct with three lanes in each direction in Mexico City. The road became operational in November 2011. Autopista Urbana Norte, S.A. de C.V. holds the concession for 30 years for the design, finance, build and operation of the project.
