RFEOI launched for Frankston Hospital Redevelopment PPP

Victorian Health and Human Services Building Authority in Australia has launched a request for expression of interest seeking a private developer for redevelopment works of Frankston Hospital in Victoria. The project will be procured under design, construction, finance, and maintenance model.

The scope of works involves the development of:

  • a new multi-level clinical services tower and main entrance
  • capacity for 120 more beds
  • two additional operating theatres
  • consolidation of medical and surgical wards into a single zone facilitating multidisciplinary care
  • relocated and enhanced emergency department beds
  • expanded women’s and children’s health services, including a new maternity ward, obstetrics ward, women’s clinic, pediatric ward, and special care nursery
  • improved oncology facilities
  • dedicated and enhanced mental health services
  • additional car parking

The estimated investment value for the project is AUD 562 million (US$ 399.14 million). The authority is expecting to complete the works of the new tower by 2024.
