City of Troy in US state New York issued a request for qualification (RFQ) for a mixed-use development project in Troy city. The project involves works of the public plaza, parking garage, an eight-story mixed-use building and potential restaurant/retail space. The parking garage will have a two-story structure at grade with Front Street. The works also include building a grand staircase connecting plaza to Riverfront.

The development will take place on the site of an old city hall near the riverfront. This is the fifth effort from the city of Troy to redevelop this site, all previous attempts were ended in disputes over infrastructure, legal action, and complaints about the design. The city hired consultants last year to gather public input and shape a concept in order to build public consensus for a project before committing development resources this time.

The deadline to submit the response is 10th May 2019. Queries regarding the RFQ will be answered till 26th April 2019.
