Sacyr, through its subsidiary Sacyr Concesiones, has reached an agreement to sell 47.5% of its stake in Guadalcesa to Aberdeen, the concessionaire that manages the Guadalmedina highway (AP-46 Málaga - Las Pedrizas).

The Guadalmedina motorway (AP-46) connects Alto de las Pedrizas with Málaga, it is a 28 km high capacity road that runs perpendicular to the coast of Malaga and serves as a communication route between the interior of the province and the coast. The average daily intensity (IMD) of this route in 2018 was 13,116 vehicles, with a growth of 4.4% compared to 2017. The project has 27 bridge and viaduct constructions, viaducts on piles with a height of more than 100 meters spanning 7 kilometers, with two of the piles having a length exceeding 800 meters. AP-46 also includes 2.2 kilometers of double tunnels.

The amount of operation amounts to an approximate amount of EUR 220 million (US$ 244.17 million), including the debt associated with the disposed share. The sale is subject to the usual authorizations for this type of operation, including Competition.

Sacyr will maintain control over Guadalcesa, which will continue to consolidate globally.
