Royal Borough of Greenwich in London, UK has given approval to Lovell's GBP290 million plans for the redevelopment of sites located in Woolwich. In this second phase, the Woolwich regeneration scheme will see the development of houses at Morris Walk North and South estates. Out of 253 homes, 177 will be affordable rentals and 76 will be shared ownership homes.

Under the Woolwich regeneration scheme, the authority chose Lovell to deliver 1,615 new homes over a 13-year regeneration program. The program involves the provision of affordable and private sale homes at three old estates located at Trinity Walk, Morris Walk North, and South estates. The scope also involves the development of associated landscaped communal amenity spaces, play spaces, parking and non-residential usage.

Lovell has already completed the first phase of the program, under which over 750 homes were constructed at the Trinity Walk site. Demolition works on the Morris Walk North and South has already started. Construction works for the second phase are expected to begin in 2022.
