Spanish engineering group, TYPSA, has announced the acquisition of two engineering firms in Spain and Belgium.Acquisition of AGREROn 3rd May 2012, the Belgian consulting firm AGRER, formerly part of the British firm Northumbrian Services Limited, officially became part of the TYPSA Group.AGRER was founded in 1959 in the Democratic Republic of Congo and carries out most of its work in Africa where it focuses on consulting services in the following areas:At the end of last year, MC2 Estudio de Ingeniería S.L. formally became part of the TYPSA Group. According to TYPSA, the Spanish company, MC2, is a leading authority in the field of structures, providing services for design, technical support and construction supervision.
MC2 offers a high level of specialism in iconic and high-rise buildings, bridges, viaducts and emblematic footbridges, large span roof structures and sports venues and, in general, in special structures and the rehabilitation of structures.
MC2 brings more than 40 years of experience in the development of highly diverse designs and construction procedures, both in the field of civil structures and in buildings. Currently, MC2 has 22 employees.
