Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Al Haer ISTP PPP project in Saudi Arabia.

SWPC had prequalified 24 bidders for the Al Haer ISTP PPP project. The bidders include the following:

The Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISWP) is expected to start commercial operations in the Q2 of 2026.

SWPC also announced that it had received 3 bids for its Rabigh 4 independent water plant PPP project, RFP for which was issued on 16 June. The bidders include the following:

1. The consortium of Acciona Agua and Abdul Aziz Al Ajlan Sons Co. for Commercial & Real Investment (Ajlan & Bros);
2. The consortium of ACWA Power, Haji Abdullah Alireza & Co (HAACO) and Almoayyed Contracting Group;
3. Engie.
