Technical advisers sought for phase 3 of PPP hospital concession in Fiji

International Finance Corporation and Ministry of Economy in Fiji has issued RFEOI seeking technical consultant for the hospital concession in Fiji. The concession includes two hospitals, Lautoka Hospital, and Ba Sub-divisional hospital. The objective of the concession is to improve the health care infrastructure and the quality and access to healthcare services. The project is divided into three phases.

  • Phase 1: Due diligence and transaction structuring
  • Phase 2: Transaction execution - project tendering
  • Phase 3: Post transcation support for 24 months

The authority is looking for a technical consultant to deliver services for phase 3 - Post transaction support. This will include assistance with short term contract management, technical assistance, development of contract manuals, and capacity building for the client to develop the competency required to manage and monitor the PPP contract over concession duration.

The concession includes works on develop, finance, upgrade, operate and maintain Lautoka Hospital, Fiji’s second largest hospital, and the new Ba Sub-divisional hospital.

The deadline to submit the response to the notice is July 01, 2019.
