Tender for passenger train PPP project in Santiago

Chile’s national railway (EFE) has announced three tenders for a passenger train PPP project, that will connect Alameda and Melipilla in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. The new route will be 61 kilometers long and will consist of 11 stations and connections to Metro lines 1 and 6 and will be used by 50 million passengers per year.

In total, there are 3 tenders for this PPP project:

  • Construction of stations and platforms for Américo Vespucio, Tres Poniente, Ciudad Satellite and Melipilla.
  • Construction of the stage 1 confinement strip.
  • Construction of vehicular crossings for Lucas Pacheco and Anibal Pinto- Los Carrera

The deadline to purchase concession terms is March 17, 2021.
