The city of Batavia in Illinois, USA has launched a request for proposal (RFP) seeking a private partner for the mixed-use development at four sites located across the city. The sites included in the concession are :

1. 2.2-acre site located on the corner of Wilson and Washington streets;
2. 1.6-acre site located west side of North River Street between State and Franklin streets;
3. 0.68-acre site located on the east side of North River Street known as the former Larson-Becker east property;
4. 0.64-acre site located at the southeast corner of Washington (Route 25) and Wilson streets known as the Boardwalk Shops/Art Stop site.

The private partner will be responsible for the development of a mixed-use building with commercial spaces on the first floor and up to three-story residential spaces.
