The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) published the call for the international public tender for the concession delivery of three electrical projects in the departments of Ucayali (Padre Abad and Coronel Portillo), Junín (Chanchamayo) and Áncash (Huaylas and Huaraz) in Peru.

• 220 kV Aguaytía - Pucallpa link, substations, lines, and associated extensions (ITC Project);
• Increase in 138-60KV Reliability of the Tarma – Chanchamayo Electrical System; and
• Increase in capacity and reliability (Criteria N-1) of Supply of the Huaraz Electrical System (ITC Project - Connection Transmission Installation).

This transmission line operates at a voltage of 220 kilovolts and serves as a critical component of the power infrastructure in the respective regions. The link is designed to facilitate the efficient transmission of electricity, supporting the reliability and stability of the power grid in the area. This increase in reliability is likely to involve various measures, such as upgrading equipment, implementing advanced technologies, and optimizing the overall infrastructure to minimize disruptions and enhance the stability of the electrical system between Tarma and Chanchamayo. The increase in capacity and reliability (Criteria N-1) of the Huaraz Electrical System implies improvements aimed at enhancing both the system's ability to handle higher loads and its overall dependability, following the Criteria N-1 standard.
