Tender issued for Utility system PPP project in USA

The University of Louisville has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a private partner to manage its on-campus utility production and distribution systems through a 50 year lease and concession agreement in the USA.

The selected concessionaire will be responsible for :

  • Upgrading, operating and maintaining the steam and chilled water plant located in the Service Complex Building (SCB) along with the electric and tunnel distribution for the Belknap Campus (collectively, “Utility System”);
  • Analyzing the Utility System and developing capital improvement plans to drive efficiency, sustainability and reliability over time;
  • Applying its experience of cutting edge technologies to identify and deliver demand-side and plant efficiencies that can improve
    project economics and help meet CAP decarbonization targets.

The project aims to generate a new flexible funding source for the University to invest in future strategic initiatives.

The last date to submit responses is February 28, 2022. More information about this RFP could be found on our business opportunity page here.
