The City of Cañon City, Colorado has issued a Request for Proposal for a high-speed broadband project in the greater Cañon City area in the USA.

The project intends to build a geographically redundant, future-proof and high-speed city-owned (public) fiber-optic ring that provides the backbone for a build-out (private) of direct fiber services to businesses and residents in the greater Cañon City area, including adjacent county neighborhoods to the north and south of the Cañon City limits.
