The 21-km long rail line will have 8 stations at Periférico Sur, Adolf B. Horn, Concepcion del Valle, San Sebastian, La Fortuna, Centro Universitario, Tlajomulco Centro and Las Juntas. The authority has already begun preliminary construction works for the project works. The project is being procured under the Public-Private partnership (PPP) with a co-investment modality. The line 4 LRT will be operated through fully electric trains. Once complete, it is expected to serve 106,000 users per day. The project is scheduled to be operational by the second half of 2024.
