The South Tyneside Council has launched the tender seeking a private partner for the development of 3 Extra Care schemes located across South Tyneside, the UK.

The selected private partner will be responsible for the design, build, management, and finance of the three care facilities at the following locations :

• Hebburn Phase 1, around 80 units;
• Dean Road, Phase 2, around 60-80 units;
• Chuter Ede Phase 3, around 120 units and a community hub.

The facilities will consist of an integrated secure dementia support area, a garden space as well as a mix of community accessible and resident-only spaces.
