Tender launched for street lighting project in Taraz

Administration of Energy and Housing & Communal Services in Kazakhstan has issued a tender seeking private developers to upgrade and trust management of outdoor lighting system in Taraz. Taraz is a city located in Zambyl Region in Kazakhstan. The project will introduce the intelligent system for control of the city street lighting at each lighting unit. The scope of work of project involves the replacement of 16,079 street lighting fixtures; lighting poles; cable line of the outdoor lighting; and installation of control cabinets for the outdoor lighting and lighting control center.

The lighting fixtures to be used should be light-emitting diodes (LEDs) with a protection degree of more than IP65, color temperature of  3,000 - 5,000 K and service life of at least 100,000 hours. The power supply voltage of lighting fixtures should be 220 ± 10% V.

Authority is expecting the private developer to have significant experience in implementation of similar projects, development and production of LED technologies for at least 10 years.

The deadline to submit the response is June 24, 2019.
