Syndicat Mixte Entre Pic et Et (Smepe) in France has launched a tender process seeking a private partner for a Waste-to-Energy PPP project in Lunel-Viel.

The project includes operation and management of the unit energy recovery from waste, operation of the uve, treatment of all waste collected, and operation of the Lunel-Viel river for a concession duration of 120 months (10 years). The estimated value of the project is EUR106 million (US$116.67 million).
