Tender launched for USD233 million mixed-use development PPP in UK

The London Borough of Lambeth in the UK has published a tender notice seeking a delivery partner/consortium for sustainable, net-zero development of two sites in Brixton Town Centre which will deliver significant benefits for the local community. These two sites are located at 49 Brixton Station Road and 6 Canterbury Crescent in Brixton’s Rec Quarter.

The partner will work with the council through a Joint Delivery Board and set up structures to support robust community engagement and involvement. The project aims to provide at least 6,500 sqm of the workspace (20% of which as an affordable workspace), up to 240 homes, reprovision of enhanced Street Market Infrastructure (trader parking, waste facilities, and storage space), and public realm improvements.

The deadline to submit the proposal is May 04, 2021
