Tender launched for water treatment plants PPP in Indiana

The Division of Utilities for the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA launched a “REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL” (RFP) seeking qualified parties to submit Proposals and Statements of Qualifications to design, obtain financing, construct, operate, and transfer improvements related to energy optimization and sustainability at the Three Rivers Water Filtration Plant, Water Pollution Control Plant, and Wet Weather Pumping Station under a public-private partnership.

The goal and intent of the Project is to develop a sustainable infrastructure solution that shares energy resources across facilities, increases the use of renewable energy, reduces peak demands, increases overall reliability and resiliency of the Project facilities, and limits future dependency on external suppliers.

The City is submitting this RFP to identify a Provider/Proposer team that is capable of scoping, developing, and financing the potential Project, as well as potentially operating some or all facilities constructed by the Project. The objective is to solicit proposals from Providers that have the experience, capability, and successful history with similar types of projects.

The deadline to submit the proposal is March 04, 2021. You can find more information about this RFP on our business opportunity page here.
