Tender launched for Winchester mixed use regeneration PPP project

Winchester City Council in the UK has launched a tender notice seeking a private developer for the regeneration of the site located in Winchester city center.

Central Winchester regeneration (CWR) site has an area of approximately 3.68 acres and two separate boundaries. The estimated investment value of the concession is GBP150 million (US$197.44 million). The private partner will be responsible for the pedestrian-oriented mixed-use development with indicative GIA mix comprising around 180,000 sq ft of residential space of which a minimum of 40% is to be affordable, around 80,000 sq ft of mixed-use space Circa 25,000 sq ft of retail and F&B space. The development works will take place in multiple phases.
