Tender Released for 8 MW Solar PV Power Plants in Dhanbad

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has invited bids for the development of 8 MWac Ground Mounted Solar PV Power Plants at Panchet in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India.

The eligibility criteria set to bidders by the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) are:

  • to have experience in designing, supplying, erecting, and commissioning Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plants with a cumulative installed capacity of 4 MW or higher;
  • should have constructed at least 2 plants of 0.8 MW or higher capacity, which have been in successful operation for a minimum of 6 months before the last date of bid submission;
  • can be a developer of SPV-based grid-connected power plants and must have constructed a reference plant of 0.8 MW or higher capacity at a single location for themselves or a client; and
  • their average annual turnover for the top three fiscal years out of the previous five fiscal years should be close to Rs. 65.14 crore, and net working capital should be at least Rs. 16.28 crore. The net wealth of the bidder must equal at least 100% of the paid-up share capital.
