TMSourcing, a service and consulting company, has sent an unsolicited proposal to the Federal Government for the development of the Mexico-Querétaro-León rail project known as Tren El Bajío in Mexico.

The project will be connecting 12 stations between Mexico City and Guanajuato. The project will have the capacity to mobilize more than 40,000 people and also intends to connect the new Santa Lucía Airport and the Buenavista Suburban Train, along 416 km of existing roads or rights of way.

The proposal is still under analysis. An initial investment of MXN80 million (US$3.94 million) is estimated to carry out the studies for the project in 2022.
