Colombia shortlists ten teams for two airport concessions

The Colombian National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) today announced the list of shortlisted consortia to participate in the tender process for two airport concessions in Colombia.

The contracts are split in two Public private partnership tenders for the design, construction and maintenance of:
  1. Tender 1: Barranquilla International Airport
  2. Tender 2: Airports of Armenia, Popoayán and Neiva
The estimated investment will be P$200.000 million (US$105 million) for each tender.The list of shortlisted investors for the project is the following:
  • EP Pavcol: Pavimentos Colombia SAS (Colombia) 99% and Industrias Asfálticas Colombia (Colombia) 1%
  • Oma-Darvy / Colpatria: Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte Sab de CV  (Mexico)  75% and Aeropuerto de Monterrey SA de CV (Mexico) 25%
  • EP Aeroportuaria del Caribe y del Interior: Epacin Arquitectos e Ingenieros Asociados AIA S.A (Colombia) 30%, Portales Urbanos S.A (Colombia) 32,5%, Nexus Infraestructura SAS (Colombia) 32,5% and Airavata SAS (Colombia) 5%
  • EP Nuevos Aeropuertos Colombianos NAC Cedicor S.A (Uruguay) 65% and Epican SAS (Colombia) 35%
  • Concesionaria Aeropuertos del Desarrollo PFS: China Gezhouba Group Company Limited sucursal Colombia CHINA 50% and Benton SAS (Colombia) 50%
  • Concesionaria Aeropuertos Colombia SPV: Valores y Contratos Valorcon S.A (Colombia) 25%, Equipo Universal S.A (Colombia) 25% and RM Holdings SAS (Colombia) 50%
  • EP Aeropuerto Atlántico: Estudios y Proyectos del Sol SAS Episol SAS (Colombia) 60% and Estudios Proyectos e Inversiones de los Andes S.A (Colombia) 40%

The team led by Vinci Concessions is probably the most important loss from the list of 21 teams competing for the project.
