BAWI Construction SRL is a Bucharest-based Romanian railway infrastructure company with more than 20 years of experience in the construction, renovation and modernisation of railway lines. The company provides a range of railway infrastructure services, including track construction and modernisation, specialised railway works, electrification, signalling and in-house production of railway components. BAWI has undertaken projects for Romania’s national railway infrastructure operator, including railway modernisation and track rehabilitation works, and operates a fleet of specialised railway construction and maintenance machinery. The company had around 240 employees and an output volume of approximately €60 million in 2025.
