EPS EMAPAT S.A. is a municipal water and sanitation company based in Puerto Maldonado, in the Madre de Dios region of Peru. Its mission is to improve the quality of life by providing access to safe water and sanitation services, ensuring potable water that meets national and international standards, along with reliable sewage services.

As a legal entity, EMAPAT is a private-law “Sociedad Anónima” (corporation), established under the relevant municipal and national regulations, with indefinite duration. Its main office is located at Avenida Ernesto Rivero 782, Puerto Maldonado.

EPS EMAPAT provides water supply and sanitation services to communities in Puerto Maldonado and nearby areas, and is regulated by national authorities for service quality. In recent oversight by the regulator SUNASS, EMAPAT’s compliance with management goals has been evaluated, including investment execution, water-pressure maintenance, reduction of non-revenue water, replacement of meters, and expansion of water and sanitation coverage.
