UNM Foundation was established by the Mehta family of the Torrent Group to carry forward the vision and values of its founder, Shri U. N. Mehta. The Foundation focuses on creating social impact across healthcare, education, art and culture, employability, environmental regeneration and urban renewal. In healthcare, it operates initiatives including health screening programmes, hygiene programmes, 11 primary healthcare centres and a paediatric hospital providing free medical services to underprivileged communities. The Foundation also supports education through programmes such as Sikshasetu and the Shardashish Scholarship Programme, while undertaking environmental and urban-development initiatives.
