Airport Hotel PPP project in Ireland receives green light

Fingal County Council has granted permission to Arora Hotel Group (Arora) for the Dublin Airport hotel PPP project in Ireland. The new luxury hotel will feature 410 bedrooms and will be adjacent to Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport.

With the estimated investment of EUR100 million (USD113.28 million), the hotel PPP project is expected to create up to 550 jobs. The hotel will be an 11-story building with a total floor area of 30,566 sq meters, making it one of the largest hotels in Ireland once operational. It will include a range of amenities such as a leisure center with a gym, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi on the third floor, and a penthouse bar and executive lounge area on the top floor.

Arora will be responsible for the design, build, finance and operation of a new hotel. The construction phase of the project will take 24-30 months to complete. The company will operate the asset for 100 years and later transfer it to Dublin Airports Authority.
