Arup expands Infrastructure team in Germany

Arup has recently announced that Markus Gabler has been appointed to the newly created position of Leader of Bridge Engineering in Germany.

The civil engineer, who is based in Arup's Düsseldorf office, will contribute his extensive experience. Marcus has worked for over 13 years on national and international bridge projects such as the new replacement cable-stayed Tappan Zee Bridge in the US State of New York and the New Bridge over the St. Lawrence in Montréal, Canada.

Markus will further expand the comany bridge engineering services in Germany, with a focus on new builds and the strengthening of road bridges.

Arup has also announced that Ramesh Raman has joined its New York office as an associate principal and the energy leader in the Transaction Advice group. Ramesh is working alongside Arup's global- and U.S.-based team of transaction advisors, including U.K.-based Jonathan Yates, who has been temporarily assigned to the New York office.

The company is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services.
