Croatia launches tenders for hospitals through PPP

Government of the Republic of Croatia has launched two tender processes for the development of the Neuropsychiatric hospital Dr. Ivan Barbot and the General Hospital Varazdin.

The Neuropsychiatric hospital Dr. Ivan Barbot will be located in Popovaca, a town in the Moslavina geographical region of Croatia. The project will be developed through a public private partnership (PPP) model.

The total project investment is estimated at €16.5 million (US$18.4 million) and the contract value is estimated at HRK193.3 million (US$28.1 million).

The tender process was issued on 18 February 2015. Interested parties must submit their request to participate on or before 1 April 2015. Tender documentation, as well as all the information in the process, can be downloaded on the following link:

The General Hospital will be located in Varazdin, a city in North Croatia, 81 km (50 mi) north of Zagreb. The project will be developed through a PPP model.

The total project investment is estimated at €40 million (US$44.7 million) and the contract value is estimated at HRK660 million (US$96.2 million).
