The following firms registered to participate in the auction:

The project involves 1,177km of highway stretches along BR-060 passing through the Federal District and the states of Goiás and Minas Gerais as well as the Federal District where the capital city of Brasilia is located.

During the 30-year span of the contract, the manager of the road will have to double capacity of the highway. Under concession rules, companies must carry out at least 10% of the total investment before they can start charging tolls. The project also involves installing 11 tollbooths and widening 648km of highway stretches before the fifth year of the concession.

The auction will take place today at Sao Paulo's stock market (BM&FBOVESPA).
