Guatemala seeks transaction advisor for PPP project

Guatemala's national agency for the development of economic infrastructure (ANADIE) has launched a tender process to hire a transaction advisor for the development of the state administration Center through a PPP project.

The project would be developed in Tegucigalpa where the old central train station is currently located. The new facilites would have an area of  180,000 m2 and 3,800 parking spaces.

The transaction advisor is expected to be a a firm with experience in investment banking. The firm will support the tender process until financial close. The transaction advisor will help to define the tender process and it will also conduct a legal, technical and financial structuring of the project.

Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 13 October 2014.

Guatemala awarded this year a PPP project that involves the development of the new Puerto Quetzal Container Terminal. On 17 April 2014, Grup TCB was selected to operate the new terminalGrup TCB will invest $120 million to build 300 metres of pier.
