Madrid tenders transport infrastructure concession

The government of Madrid, Spain, has launched a tender process for the development of an underground parking and transport facility through a concession project.

The project will be developed on a design, build, finance, operation and maintenance (DBFOM) basis.

The contract value is estimated at €38.7 million (US$43.3 million).

Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 16 March 2015. The proposals are scheduled to be opened on 24 March.

The Government of Madrid has recently launched other tender process for the development of the second phase of the "Ciudad de la Justicia" in Madrid. The total project investment is estimated at €483 million (US$550 million). The concession contract will be for a period of 30 years from commercial close. Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 1 April 2014.
