Nice Cote D´azur launches tender for car park concession

The regional government of Nice Côte d'Azur, France, has launched a tender process to develop a car park trough a public private partnership (PPP) project.

The project will be carried out at "Place du Général de Gaulle" in àˆze, a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France near to the city of Nice. The car park, which will be developed in an area of 3,500 m², will have a minimum capacity of 350 places.

The preferred bidder will be responsible for the design, construction, finance, operation and maintenance of the new facilities for a period between 35 and 40 years.

The concession has an estimated value of €13 million (US$14.2 million).

Interested parties must submit their applications on or before 28 May 2015. 

Eiffage has recently signed the University of Lorraine building PPP project in Metz, France. The project will be developed on a design, build finance, operation and maintenance (DBFOM) basis. The contract period will be 25 years and the PPP contract worth €32.6 million.
