Proposals sought for Rahway Valley wastewater treatment plant under P3

The Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority (RVSA) has launched a request for proposals (RFP) for the Rahway Valley wastewater treatment plant P3 project in USA.

The objective of the RVSA is to improve the efficiency and sustainability of its wastewater treatment plant through the beneficial utilization of the excess capacity of the RVSA's existing digesters through the receipt and disposition of a specified feedstock

The preferred bidder will be required to finance, design, install, and own a RVSA's wastewater treatment plant that will receive liquid waste, which will be processed. After the plant processes the liquid waste the resulting specified feedstock will be pumped into a tank from which it will be fed into RVSA's digesters.

RVSA currently serves more than 250,000 residents and 3,500 industrial and commercial customers in Central New Jersey.

Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 29 July 2015.
