Seven groups bidding for Cebu airport PPP project

On Monday, April 22, seven groups submitted qualification documents in response to the Request for Qualifications released by the Government of the Philippines for Mactan Cebu International Airport PPP project.

The 7 groups that would advance to the next stage of project bidding after submitting prequalification documents were:

The Project

The project scope primarily consists of:1. Construction of a new passenger terminal, along with all related infrastructure and facilities as per International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards;2. Construction of an apron for the new passenger terminal;3. Renovation and expansion of the existing terminal along with all related infrastructure and facilities as per international/ICAO standards to handle domestic operations;4. Installation of all the required equipment and other related facilities as per international/ICAO standards;5. Installation of the required IT and other equipment commensurate with the operations; and6. Operation and maintenance of both the passenger terminals during the entire concession period.
