Shortlisted bidders for Knik Arm Bridge and Ottawa Light Rail

Knik Arm Bridge P3 project
The Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority (KABATA) has short listed three bidders for the final round of the procurement process of Knik Arm Bridge in Alaska. The sortlist was expected for October 2011 and finally here it is. This shortlist should be followed by an issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) at the end of the first quarter 2012. The project schedule anticipates financial close (FC) in time for the 2013 construction season.
Industry leaders as HDR, Wilbur Smith Associates, and Citgroup are advising KABATA with cost estimation, revenue estimation and financial planning.
The three consortia that have been selected by KABATA are:

Ottawa Light Rail PPP project
Tthree firms have been selected to compete for the construction, finance and operation of the Ottawa Light Rail project. The Request-for-Proposals (RFP) process is scheduled to commence later this month and close in July 2012. Working with Infrastructure Ontario, the City of Ottawa will select a winning proposal in late 2012 for approval by City Council with construction to commence in Q1 2013.
