The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) has announced that it received offers from 10 constructions firm interested in supervising the works of the PY10 (Capiibary) - Sto. Domingo - Esc. Agrícola – Sidepar - PY13 road section in Paraguay.

The bidders are as follows: Vial 2E Consortium (ELC Electroconsult del Paraguay SA - Elepar SA), Electropar SRL, Capiibary Ruta 10 Consortium (Tecnoestudios SA - Intec SA), Vial AG RC Consortium (ACK Constructora Metalúrgica Publicitaria - Ríos & Asociados Asesores de Negocios), 2G Consortium (GEPG SA - Consultora Guaraní Ingenieros Civiles SA), Innovación y Excelencia SA, Alianza Consortium (Asistencia Integral de Ingenieria SRL - XYZ Ingeniería Sociedad Simple), Ingeneg SA, Sideral Consortium (TRSA Ingenieros y Consultores - Tecma SA) and Tecon Consortium (Tecnodinámica SRL - Contec SA Ingenieros Consultores).

Concretmix SA was awarded Lot 1 with PYG44.86 billion (US$617 million) and Lot 2 was awarded to Constructora Acaray SA with a PYG39.74 billion (US$546 million) bid. The estimated investment in required services is PYG3.8 billion (US$522.7 million).

The project involves the development of a 33.02 km long PY13 Capiibary section: Lot 1 covers 17.6 km and the second 9.5 km, plus the route Branch 13 to Ramal Primera Línea, 5.9 km, totaling 33.02 km.
