Growthfund – the National Fund of Greece announces that eleven investment schemes have submitted Expressions of Interest (EOI) in the tender for the development of the property “Beach and Camping of Possidi, Kalandra”.
The site, located in the Municipality of Kassandra in the Region of Central Macedonia, covers a total area of approximately 129,000 m². EOIs were submitted by the following investment schemes:
According to the Spatial Development Plan (ESCHADA), the property is designated for the development of tourism and recreation facilities. The site is located near residential areas, holiday settlements, and various tourism facilities. It lies 2.6 km from the coastal settlement of Possidi, 5 km from Kalandra, 10 km from Skala Fourkas, and 25 km from Kassandria, the administrative center of the Municipality of Kassandra. Notably, it is just 5 km from the archaeological site of the Temple of Poseidon, the oldest sanctuary dedicated to the deity, and adjacent to the long-standing camping site of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a key landmark in the region which has been in operation since 1960.
