Ardian has announced that it acquires a stake in Mon Véto to accelerate its growth alongside founders.

Mon Véto is an operator of a network of general veterinary clinics catering to the communities of Normandy, Ile-de-France and Brittany. The company provides services like general medicine, preventive medicine, surgery, radiology, ultrasound, analysis laboratory and nutrition, thereby providing a one-stop-shop for all the veterinary needs of its clients. Ardian's minority investment will consist of a EUR100 million (US$107 million) capital increase to support and accelerate the development of the Group in France and Europe. Ardian's investment will enable Mon Véto to become a leader in France while maintaining its independence. After the transaction, the group's practicing veterinarians will continue to hold a significant controlling interest.

Mon Véto's strategy aims to create local clusters that promote synergy between veterinary clinics in the same area. The company's turnover is more than EUR180 million (US$192 million).
