Brookfield has unveiled a US$100 billion AI infrastructure programme backed by NVIDIA and the Kuwait Investment Authority. The initiative is built around the Brookfield Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund, which is aiming to raise US$10 billion in equity and has already amassed US$5 billion from Brookfield itself, along with NVIDIA, the Kuwait Investment Authority, and a select set of institutional investors. Brookfield intends to back AI data-processing facilities based on NVIDIA’s DSX architecture, as well as on-site power systems and specialised compute infrastructure designed for government and major corporate needs. The company highlights its strong foundation for scaling this effort, pointing out that it has already committed more than US$100 billion to digital infrastructure and clean energy projects. It has also arranged a US$5 billion agreement with Bloom Energy to supply up to 1 GW of local power capacity and entered into AI-focused infrastructure collaborations in France and Sweden worth up to US$30 billion combined.
