Concession contract signed for Alfonso Bonilla Aragón airport in Palmira

The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has announced the extension until Q3 of 2025 of the concession contract for the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón airport in Palmira (Valle del Cauca), Colombia.

These initiatives aim to enhance the operation, maintenance, and services provided at the air terminal, concurrently shaping the IP Aeropuertos de Suroccidente, anticipated for award in 2025. This endeavor aims to elevate and modernize infrastructure to meet the highest quality standards. Presently, ANI is overseeing the renovation of the old terminal, construction of the new terminal and international platform, urban planning and access improvements, certification works progress, and the establishment of a fire station at the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón airport. The terminal in Valle del Cauca secured the 3rd position in the passenger transport rankings in Colombia for both 2022 and 2023. To expand operational capacity for both passengers and cargo, ANI is actively assessing a private initiative for the modernization of airport infrastructure.
